The king had always wanted to destroy this dungeon. For as long as he could remember, he had watched his father and his father’s father grow more and more mad with each fruitless attempt of exterminating what they called Monsters. But not everyone called them that, and that made the king even more resentful. Inheriting his family’s ambition, he too, sent countless knights to their death, but just as the kings before him, he failed. Although it was strictly forbidden, the king felt like he had no other choice. It was time he turned to the dark forces of the arcane. 

With the curse of this black magic, the king was able to leave his own body and possess another, controlling it like a puppet, but only if it had no soul. And so his quest began. To kill all of the dungeon's inhabitants by making them fight each other.
